RPX has worked in Kyrgyzstan since 2009.

In partnership with the USAID’s Office of Food for Peace and the US Embassy in Bishkek, RPX delivers supplementary food to vulnerable patients throughout Kyrgyzstan. Approximately 15,000 beneficiaries in 90 institutions, located in every oblast of Kyrgyzstan, are served daily meals every year under this joint effort. RPX also partners with Abt Associates and the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health under the USAID-funded Defeat TB project, providing essential medical supplies and technical assistance to reduce the burden of tuberculosis (TB) in Kyrgyzstan. RPX also helped launch Public Fund Ergene - a Kyrgyz women-led nonprofit organization. Together with Ergene, RPX engages in a variety of health and nutrition campaigns that make positive change at the policy, clinical and community levels.

Kyrgyzstan is home to RPX’s Central Asia Headquarters, providing administrative and technical support to RPX projects in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
