    Company & Mission

    Integrity, Dignity, Citizenship, Accountability & Collaboration

    The Resource & Policy Exchange, Inc. (RPX) is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit international development organization, founded in 2003, with US headquarters located in New York State. RPX’s mission is to equalize health care standards, improve access to information and local participation in government around the world. This mission is addressed by providing support and strengthening activities of nonprofit organizations in developing regions. RPX has partnered with over 100 international and local non-government organizations to implement projects in South America, Africa, Europe and Eurasia.

     

    MANAGEMENT
     

    RPX is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors and a US-based Executive Team. The Executive Team works directly with international partner organizations and technical advisors to facilitate programs in developing regions. This approach enables RPX to addresses development issues while building active civic societies. RPX also has national representatives working with local organizations in three countries.

     

    DONORS
     

    RPX receives operational funding and donations from US Agency for International Development (USAID), US State Department, corporate sponsors, private foundations, and individual contributors.

    Integrity: Our organization's activities, services, and programs are consistent with our stated missions, compatible with our organizational capacity, respectful of the interests of our varied constituencies, and managed with the highest level of professionalism.

    Dignity: We respect the dignity and autonomy of each person, and the integrity, privacy, pride, beliefs, and cultures of our varied constituencies - donors, volunteers, and the people we serve.

     

    Citizenship: We comply with all applicable federal, state, local and international laws and regulations. We keep the broader interests and look for opportunities to become partners with those working in the private and public sectors.

     

    Accountability: Mission-focused, production of measurable outcomes, conducting program evaluations, and developing and maintaining sound financial management are important elements of our accountability.
