Through the delivery of food and nutritional training, RPX addresses emergency needs while promoting long-term food security solutions.

RPX food aid is delivered to the most vulnerable populations through partner organizations as a supplement to existing resources and as an incentive to participate in larger social programs. This approach meets an emergency need while avoiding the potential risks faced by other programs, such as disrupting local markets, creating disincentives for local producers, or creating long term donor dependence.

Nutritional training and emergency planning seek to optimize the use of available resources through better food selection and preparation, and help beneficiaries recognize and respond to the early signs of poor nutrition. Focusing on childhood nutrition, RPX promotes positive dietary habits that last a lifetime.
